The Athletic Association was created in 1902 at North-Western (now North Central) College to promote and regulate athletics at the College. All Students, faculty, and alumni were eligible to be members of the organization. The association was divided into five departments: football, basketball, baseball, track, and tennis.

This series includes two ledgers from the Athletic Association. The minutes ledger includes the 1903 constitution of the organization as well as revisions and amendments. This ledger also includes minutes for the monogram committee, general assembly, and board of control. These minutes discuss Association officers, members, awards given to athletes, treasurer reports, and committee assignments. The Athletic Association minutes book ends in 1913, when the organization ceased to exist. The treasurer's ledger includes received membership dues and organization expenses from 1902 to 1911.
