Count Leo Tolstoy (1828-1910) was a Russian novelist and philosopher. He is best known for his books, War and Peace (1865-1869) and Anna Karenina (1873-1877). In 1862 he married Sophia Andreyevna Bers. They had 13 children together, including his youngest daughter Alexandra (1884-1979).
