  • Collection summary Interior view of a sleeping porch at the Municipal Tuberculosis Sanitarium. A row of beds lines one wall, and a row of lounge chairs is lined up by the windows. The sanitorium was located at North Crawford and Bryn Mawr Avenues in the North Park community area of Chicago, Illinois. The sanitorium was opened to the public on February 16, 1915.
