  • Collection summary Group portrait of Ensign and Mrs. Thomas J. Bryce standing on cement steps in the garden area of Samuel Insull's home near Libertyville, Illinois. Mrs. Bryce is wearing a fur stole. Insull was President of Commonwealth Edison and Chairman of the Illinois State Council of Defense during World War I. The mansion was built in 1914 for Insull; purchased in 1937 by the John Cuneo, Sr., family; and later became the Cuneo Museum at 1350 North Milwaukee Avenue in Vernon Hills, Ill.
