  • Collection summary View of Division Street Bridge, view at a slight angle from one side of the bridge, along the street surface through the bridge and toward the bridge house on the other side. This image was probably taken after an automobile plunged off the bridge while its was being raised to allow a ship to pass on the river below. The bridge was in the West Town community area of Chicago, Illinois. A pedestrian appears blurred, but is visible on one sidewalk.
