  • Collection summary Exterior view of the Bishops' Mausoleum in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Hillside, Illinois. Snow is on the ground and 3 clergymen are standing beside the building, at the end opposite the entrance. Probably shown when construction of the building was completed in 1912. Archbishop James E. Quigley ordered the construction of the mausoleum, to which the bodies of his predecessors as bishop or archbishop of Chicago were moved.
