Miss Matthews was Coey's fiancee. Text on a large banner in front of the airship (or on the airship itself) reads in part: White, Eagle. Crowds of adults and children are standing in the foreground and background. The airship was a dirigible belonging to Horace B. Wild and known at first as the Eagle and later as the White City Eagle after it flew at the opening of an amusement park in Indianapolis called White City on May 26, 1906.
