- Collection summary Image of football players on the field during a game between the University of Minnesota and the University of Chicago played at Marshall Field. Marshall Field (renamed Stagg Field in 1915) was located north of East 57th Street and east of South Ellis Avenue in the Hyde Park community area of Chicago, Illinois. A player holding the ball is being tackled at the center of the image. Spectators are visible in the stands in the background. A partially visible sign at the top of the bleachers reads: ...For Chicago I Will.
