A baseball player is running to first base from home plate, and another baseball player is running from third base to home plate. Crowds are standing in foul territory in the foreground and background. West Side Grounds was located between West Polk Street, South Wolcott Avenue (formerly Lincoln Street), West Taylor Street, and South Wood Street in the Near West Side community area.
