Sleeve Caption Portraits of people's backyards throughout the city. In her study of backyards, CITY 2000 photographer Carol McLaughlin has found that the spaces are as varied as their homeowners. Some yards reveal a meticulous love of structure, while others are entrusted to nature: wind, rain and pollinating insects.
