  • Description View of the corner of Adams and State Streets. On the southwest corner is the Century Building (also known as the Buck and Rayner Building). On the northwest corner is the Fair Store building. This department store was demolished in 1984; the site remained empty until 2001 when construction on the Citadel Center (also known as Dearborn Center, Bank One Corporate Center, Bank One Center, Chase Center) replaced it.
