  • Description View looking south from the Scott Avenue overpass along the Chicago and North Western (now Metra) railroad tracks in Winnetka. The passenger platforms for the Hubbard Woods station, visible in the distance, are located in a below-grade depression created by a Public Works Administration project completed in 1943. The platforms are accessible by pedestrian bridge from the station house. (The station house itself is located at 1065 Gage Street, Winnetka.)
