The Michael Reese Service League Thrift Shop at 54 West Chicago Avenue (building now part of the Alliance Francaise) is visible on the extreme right of the image; the Park National Bank (originally Cosmopolitan State Bank) and the 800 North Clark Street Building (originally Bush Temple of Music) are behind it. The brown brick high-rise seen against the sky is part of the Moody Bible Institute. In the distance, near the center of the image, the Montgomery Ward & Company headquarters (now The Montgomery condominiums, 535 West Chicago Avenue) and the tower of the old Montgomery Ward Administration Building are visible.
