  • Collection summary Black and white photographs and negatives related to Henry Johnson, his family, and friends in and around Chicago. Johnson lived on Laramie Avenue in the Austin neighborhood of Chicago (Ill.) and served in World War I. The photographs are mostly snapshots of unidentified people involved in leisure activities and games. There are some portraits of Johnson in his military uniform. Some of the photographs are mounted to matte board.
