Includes Hillman's department store, the Quinlan-Tyson and Williams & Ferry buildings, the dedication parade on State Street for the World's Columbian Exposition, Illinois Central transportation to the Century of Progress Exposition, a Pabst brewing company wagon, the toboggan slide at Drexel Blvd. and a piece of correspondence regarding the B. & O Railroad. Copy negatives include a cityscape entitled "Chicago in 1833," the Chicago Ave. water tower (1867) and a book illustration of the pumping station in 1854.
