  • Collection summary Collection of lantern slides for presentations prepared under the authority of the Committee on Public Information, Washington, D.C. and presented by members of the Four Minute Men society. Used to illustrate talks encouraging World War I enlistment and the sale of liberty bonds in 1917. Subjects include battle scenes, troops, airplanes, and military (Pershing) and civilian (Wilson) leaders. Some of the text is in English, Spanish and Hebrew.
