  • Collection summary Includes views of the interior of The Cliff Dwellers club's lounge areas, dining room, book shelves, wall displays of art work, bathrooms, entry ways, corridors, stairways, and kitchen at its Orchestra Hall location (220 South Michigan Avenue, 9th floor) shortly before the club relocated to 200 South Michigan, 22nd floor, in Chicago (Ill.) in 1996. The old interior was designed originally by Daniel Burnham and Howard Van Doren Shaw. Collection also includes views of the Art Institute of Chicago and Grant Park to the east from an exterior balcony at the club's old location and a group portrait of members taken on April 19, 1996.
