Includes minutes of regular meetings, 1881-1915, 1921-1923, 1925-1930, 1932-1942, and 1953-1956; minutes of the club's Home Economics Department, 1917-1926; minutes of the club's Art Department, 1904-1947; minutes of the club's Literature Department, 1924-1936; minutes of the club's Past Presidents' council, 1920-1935; a volume containing the club constitution, by-laws, and early membership lists, 1884-1896; a handwritten and bound essay by Susan Wood Burnham entitled, Our Society, 1893; a scrapbook of newspaper clippings of literary interest, ca. 1880; a publicity scrapbook, 1953-54; scrapbook of items relating to club and neighborhood history (including an 1886 edition of the Lawndale Hustler), 1886-1945; and 2 scrapbooks compiled by the Millard Avenue Junior Woman's Club, 1944 and 1945-1946.
