Adams, Richard Bly, Vince Boland, Phyllis Cerney, Eugenia Fawcett, Gil Garcia, Hans Gutenstein, Betty Kapella, William Kristy, Sam Krizan, Betty Kubis, Earl Kubis, Curtis Larsen, Helen V. Lynch, John McCarthy, Patricia Messmer, Paul Meyers, Mary Milner, Alan Perry, Allen Perry, Casey Prunchunas, Jack J. Regan, Norris Romeo, Marilyn Schielke, Carolyn Sparling, Peggy Stevens, and Charles Stinson. Photographs were taken in Chicago and in the following suburbs and Illinois towns: Aurora, Blue Island, Brookfield, Burbank, Chicago Ridge, Cicero, Deerfield, Downers Grove, Elgin, Elk Grove, Elmhurst, Evanston, Frankfort Geneva, Glencoe, Itasca, Kankakee, La Grange, Lamont, Libertyville, Lisle, Lockport, Lombard, McCook, Mundelein, Naperville, Oakbrook, Oak Lawn, Oak Park, Orland Park, Palatine, Palos Park, Park Ridge, Plainfield, Prospect Heights, Riverdale, Rosemont, Schaumburg, Stickney, Waukegan, Wheaton, Wheeling, Willow Springs and Worth.
    • Includes views of the following Chicago buildings and landmarks: Henrotin Hospital, Centennial Fountain, Marshall Field's department store, Carson Pirie Scott, Union Station, Buckingham Fountain, Board of Trade, Tribune Tower, Sun-Times Building, NBC Tower, Coast Guard Station, Blackstone Hotel, Hotel Florence, Stock Yards, Chicago Stadium, Berghoff Restaurant, and Petrillo Bandshell in Grant Park. The collection includes photographs of churches, theaters, Lake Michigan, Lincoln Park Zoo, Midway Airport, bridges over the Chicago River, Chicago Marathon, Triathlon, Chicago Fest, and Printer's Row neighborhood.

  • Acquisition information These slides and many accompanying photoprints were the gift of the Chicago Area Camera Clubs Association (CACCA) and gift of the individual photographers as part of the Chicagoland-in-Pictures project, an annual competition sponsored by Chicago Historical Society and CACCA since 1948. These images were accepted into the collection during the 1989-1990 competition (1990.0837).
