Events include the World's Columbian Exposition (1893) and A Century of Progress (1933-1934) world's fairs. Organizations include the Chicago Commons Association, Chicago Teachers Union, Infant Welfare Society, Jewish Home for the Aged and Jewish Community Centers, United Charities, Visiting Nurses Association, Woman's City Club, and the YMCA. Some collections show Chicago public works and city views. A few collections contain personal photographs showing family, friends, and vacation images. Two collections relate to art and design.
