- Collection summary Correspondence, memory books, and other personal papers and memorabilia of Margaret M. Dahlem (Peggy Dahlem). Included are three volumes; a memory book (1910-1918) consisting of photographs, event programs, letters, and notes; a "School Memories" autograph and scrapbook (1912-1916) consisting of autographs, programs, notes, report cards, dance programs with little pencils attached, and photographs documenting her time at John Marshall High School; and "The Review, "the John Marshall High School 1916 yearbook. Photographs show Dahlem and friends with automobiles, on picnics, and other trips. Memorabilia in the volumes includes a fabric label with a large number that was worn for a dance contest. The collection also includes letters (1917-1919) from Private Harry E. Stevens, known as Ellie Stevens, of Headquarters Company, 124th Field Artillery, U.S. Army, American Expeditionary Force, during World War I.
