  • Collection summary Color digital photographic prints (6), printed materials, and annotated documents related to the 2012 Chicago Teacher's Union strike. Images depict teachers, parents, and children from the John C. Coonley Elementary School picketing in Grant Park and outside the Coonley building at 4046 North Leavitt Street in Chicago, including Justin Wreczinksi, Coonley music teacher; Nora Wiltse, Coonley school librarian, strike organizer, and union delegate; and Leigh Armstrong, a parent of Coonley students. Printed materials and documents include flyers, phone tree for Coonley school demonstrators, and Wiltse's annotated union delegate/picket captain instructions.
