  • Biographical or Historical Note Kathryn Kucera was born February 17, 1930 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She received her B.S. in Related Art from the University of Wisconsin in 1951 and earned an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1974. Kucera has been a frequent lecturer and juror for numerous institutions, including art schools and groups, throughout the Chicago area. Kucera has also been an active member and leader in womens art groups, such as Artemisia Art Gallery.
  • Collection summary This collection is divided into three sections: Biographical, Professional and Audiovisual. The professional series includes resumes, gallery programs, publicity materials, and correspondence. There are a number of slides and some photographs of Kuceras art in the collection.
