Station WNCC began broadcasting from North Central College in 1947 using a "ham-radio" and was operated by the Amateur Radio Association with help from the Speech Department. In 1954, the station became a member of the Intercollegiate Broadcasting System and changed its call letters from WNCC to WNOC. On June 28, 1968, WNOC went FM and became Station WONC, with a listening radius of 25 miles.

This subseries includes weekly programs, broadcast transcripts, member rosters, program proposals, and control room instructions for the College radio station. The majority of the records date from 1967 through 1985 though some records are from more recent years.
