  • Collection summary Interior view of the Bishops' Mausoleum at Mount Carmel Cemetery in suburban Hillside, Illinois, with decorative religious mosaics, vaulted ceilings, and ornamental architectural elements. Shown in July 1915 when Archbishop James E. Quigley was buried there. Quigley had ordered the construction of the mausoleum, to which the bodies of his predecessors as bishop or archbishop of Chicago were moved.
