Marshall Field (renamed Stagg Field in 1915) was located north of East 57th Street and east of South Ellis Avenue in the Hyde Park community area of Chicago, Illinois. Two men are standing by the scoreboard which lists the participating schools as: Michigan, Chicago, Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, Engelwood, Indiana, Iowa, Purdue, Missouri, Nebraska, Notre Dame and Northwestern College. University of Chicago buildings are visible in the background.
