  • Caption Robert Abbott Elementary School, 6800 S. Wentworth. Members of the Wentworth White Sox baseball team practice on a paved lot behind the school. Made up of 8-to-12-year-olds from the Wentworth Gardens housing community, the Sox are the one of sixteen Inner City Little League teams. Administered by the Park District as of 2000, the league's teams include Chicago Housing Authority residents and compete at the South Side's Washington Park; squads share the names of Major League Baseball teams, and the league is partially sponsored by the Chicago Cubs' Cubs Care foundation and the Chicago White Sox.
