  • Collection summary Primarily images of Glacier and Yellowstone national parks, photographed and hand colored by Chicago resident Rodde, a professional lithographer and amateur photographer. Includes scenes of the vacation journey between Chicago and these destinations with automobiles, motor courts, mountainous landscapes, and vacation participants. Also includes some scenes in Chicago: the Chicago Theater at night, playing in the snow in Douglas Park, family groups and a house interior with a Christmas tree.
