  • Collection summary Pen and ink and portfolio of printed illustrations of Chicago artist Moran generally depict children and animals in fanciful situations suitable for children's literature. Includes a few illustrations for the book "When Ester was a little girl." Pencil and watercolor sketches from a trip to France (ca. 1920-1929) include buildings, rural workers, sailors and others in regional costumes. A few watercolor paintings are landscapes of towns and mountain villages. Photonegatives are primarily amateur quality group portraits. Some negatives depict a swimming party, artists at easels, and interiors, ca. 1917-1920.
