    • Scrapbooks (4 v.; 13 1/2 x 16 in.) compiled in honor of Mrs. Bowen, a Chicago social reformer and philanthropist, containing correspondence, newspaper clippings, pamphlets and other printed materials, photographs, and other items relating to her views on the social evils of her time and her concern for social reform, especially her work with the Hull-House settlement house and the Juvenile Protective Association of Chicago. Collection includes other items that belonged to Bowen, including Our Marriage Vow, a volume containing a marriage certificate and autographs of witnesses, and a Book of Common Prayer (1867).
