Also includes listings for the original town of Chicago, Fort Dearborn Addition, Fractional Section 15 Addition, and the School Section Addition. The volume was compiled by J.T. Pratt of the Tacoma Building and also contains a map of city plots listing lot ownership and values. The location of the land means that this book contains ownership information for the downtown Loop commercial area, such as the Marshall Field & Co. department store. Volume was labeled "Real property, South Chicago."
