John Ragland was executive director of the South Central Association (Chicago, Ill.) and was involved with the Tri-Faith Employment Program. Mr. Ragland also ran as the Republican candidate for alderman of the 24th Ward in 1953. The collection also includes materials relating to his son Albert Ragland during his term as executive director of the Chicago Conference on Religion and Race ca. 1971-1974.
