  • Collection summary Job files (ca. 250) for landscapes and planning by F.A. Cushing Smith & Associates. Designs were made for various clients, primarily in the northern suburbs of Chicago but also in other locations. Files for a commission to plan or construct a landscape often contain drawings, blueprints, elevations, other plans, etc. Clients included private estates, schools, parks, golf courses, the town of Wilmette (Ill.) and its marina ca. 1927; Lincoln Park Zoo (Chicago, Ill.) ca. 1947. Collection includes index cards listing jobs and clients.
