  • Collection summary Correspondence, clippings and other papers relating to Leonard Fuchs, a resident of the Albany Park community of Chicago (Ill.), community activist, and aldermanic candidate in 1955 and earlier. Includes notes on his work with the Cleaners, Dyers and Pressers Union, 1937-1938; and copies of a newsletter, "The 39th Ward Scaffold," that he produced, 1939-1941. His personal correspondence includes many letters from his friends in the army during the late 1940s.
