  • Collection summary Black-and-white and color photographic digital prints (11 x 14 in.) showing the 1968 Democratic Convention demonstrations in Chicago (5 items), a 1970 rally in support of the students and victims of the Kent State University shootings (2 items), and unidentified demonstrations held in Chicago (3 items). The prints were made around 2007 from Michael Vollan's original photographs. The convention-related images depict people gathered around and climbing on the General Logan statue in Grant Park, as well as demonstration attendees Allen Ginsberg and Jean Genet with William S. Burroughs in the background. Other images depict demonstrators marching in the Chicago Loop, police officers, and a war veteran protesting the Vietnam War.
