  • Collection summary Views of United Charities' Camp Algonquin and its predecessor Camp Goodwill, which served needy mothers and children from the Chicago area. Photos show children being transported to camp, and children and counselors engaged in routine and planned activities, such as dining, swimming, arts and crafts, and theatrical pageants. Also includes scenes of Camp Harlowarden, a division of Camp Algonquin which served children needing special nutritional care.
