  • Collection summary This video concerns the Chicago Arab Oral History Project organized by the Arab American Action Network and the American Friends Service Committee. This documentary includes excerpts from video-taped oral history interviews of Chicago area residents who are Palestinian and who experienced the Arab-Israeli War of 1948, when many of them became exiled from their homeland. This program also describes the workings of the oral history project and includes excerpts of the historians discussing the interviews they were conducting.
