    • 13 photomechanical prints ; 38 x 29 cm. (15 x 11 1/2 in.) or smaller.
  • Collection summary Primarily separately mounted photographs and snapshots of Jackson, Lincoln, Washington and South Parks in Chicago, and unidentified homes and people in Chicago (ca. 1890). Also includes loose album pages with unidentified park scenes, people, homes, and tunnel construction. Includes a few scenes of the lakefront and harbor, grain elevators and a policeman in uniform. Unmounted photographs unclude unidentified portraits, some inscribed to Tom Wall, a manager for the Canadian Pacific Railroad (ca. 1930); and unidentified city scenes, a few of which may be in Chicago, that include a dentist (ca. 1920) and a general store (ca. 1900). Miscellaneous printed illustrations depict Chicago's new buildings after the Great Fire of 1871, the stockyards, and the Illinois and Michigan Canal.
