  • Biographical or Historical Note Fantastic Drawings from Chicago Collections was an exhibition featuring 84 drawings with an emphasis on the surreal, the romantic, the erotic, the grotesque, the visionary, and the fantastic. The exhibition was on view from December 19, 1967 through January 17, 1968. The show was curated by Joseph Randall Shapiro, the founding president of the MCA. All of the works were from Chicago area collections.
