  • AbstractPhi Delta Kappa is an international association for professional educators with more than 35,000 members and 250 local chapters. The collection consists of meeting minutes, handbooks, newsletters, photographs, and other official records from the CSU chapter.

Irene B. Wilson, who served as chapter president from 1992-1994, is collecting artifacts and records from other members and regular accruals will be sought.

Phi Delta Kappa is an international association for professional educators with more than 35,000 members and 250 local chapters. The CSU chapter was founded in 1972 and has functioned to bring together university professors of education, secondary and elementary school teachers, and others with a professional interest in the local and national education system. At both the local and national level the organization gives scholarships to students, and the local chapter hosts an annual Educator of the Year banquet, along with other events.
