Armour Institute of Technology (opened 1892) was one of two Chicago colleges which merged in 1940 (the other college was Lewis Institute) to create Illinois Institute of Technology.

Armour Institute of Technology (Chicago) Grade Reports, about 500 entires in total, primarily for 1898-1899, but with notes in some cases as to student's date of entry to AIT, date left, and if they graduated later. Grade reports are for students in the engineering and architecture curricula. Entries are in order by date of student's enrollment in the school; an alphabetical index cross-referencing student name to appropriate page number has been created; iventory.
