  • Collection summary Exterior view of the entrance of the Bishops' Mausoleum at Mount Carmel Cemetery in suburban Hillside, Illinois. Steps lead to an entrance with a pediment reading "Resurrecturis." Shown in July 1915 when Archbishop James E. Quigley was buried there. Quigley had ordered the construction of the mausoleum, to which the bodies of his predecessors as bishop or archbishop of Chicago were moved.
