  • Collection summary Album entitled Harbor & Subway Commission, contains progress photographs of the construction of Navy Pier (formerly Municipal Pier), 1914-1915. Prints & photographs show exterior and interior views. Interiors primarily include scenes of exhibits at an unidentified tool and machinery show (1926?). A few photographs show facilities and office space. Also includes a few photographs of people involved with Navy Pier, such as Sol Bernstein who was Head Clerk at the Harbormaster's Office of Navy Pier.
